Oh, I was born there and return there from time to time. I might be one of those strange characters.

Perhaps anyone who walks around with a filim camera could be regarded as strange by a certain "audience".

Only about 2 minutes. I saw an old woman with glass's walk by it, then later I saw these women walking by, I ran towards it set the focus at f8 at 2 meters and hoped for the best.

Sometimes you not only have to see the shot, but also chase it.
How do you deal with the people you're with that get annoyed by you looking and chasing for images?
Sometimes I think it is better to go out street shooting alone

Yeah shooting alone works best.
If people get annoyed, I smile and say sorry, if that does not work I pretend I don't speak English.
