..però quell'angolo in alto a destra perchè è così scuro?

perchè la parete è fatta di tante linee orizzontali di metallo intervallate da vetro... e la distanza tra loro, per effetto della prospettiva, sembra diminuire man mano che la distanza aumenta... quindi la parete tende a inscurirsi perchè le linee di metallo "si infittiscono".

ah quella Γ¨ la vignettature del grandangolo.
è un ombreggiatura che viene fuori sulla pellicola perchè l'angolo di ocale è così ampio che va oltre i bordi del sensore e li include un attimo... pochissimo.. ma questo basta per fare questo effetto molto suggestivo.

Lì per lì non mi entusiasmava molto la struttura... se non per quell aparte arancione molto accattivante... poi però ronzandoci intorno ho potuto notare i riflessi che venivano fuori... ch dabano tutto un altro fascino al palazzo... sicchè ho deciso che una foto andava fatta!

I lived in Helsinki, Kamppi, just near the church in the stone!
I was there for 7 months, I really had a great time!

how expensive is helsinki? how much did you pay for the flat/shared flat/student housing?

yeah the finns are quite shy but i had the opportunity to know many international stdents from all the the parts of Europe...
Helsinki it's quite expensive expecially for the food and trasportation, but for my flat (20mq, internet, kitchen with oven and big fridge, heating sys) + laundry, sauna, swimming pool in the building all included i paid 300β¬ per month that's more than good comparing to florence's prices.

talking to erasmus-students, i always get the feeling their reason to go abroad is NOT to learn about the local culture and ppl but to party with other international students
transportation... isn't helsinki small enough to go by bike or foot ?

actually i went there mostly for the colture and design... I didn't know anything about the north of the europe: That's why i chose Helsinki. Then i discovered that finns and international students can party har, and that's is fucking amazing! The city is not so big... you can go around with a bicicle (if the weather it's good)... but bicicle it's good just for the centre (the soutern part)... sometimes the bus and the train are necessary... (If you live in Rastila a bicicle won't help) I always used trasportation even if i lived in the centre... that's because sometimes you have to reach some university places, friends, parties or whatever... anyway they have the best trasportation system ever... travelling with public transport it's a real pleasure... and thanks to that you can do hundred things in just one day... because you can go all over the city in few minutes!
1 month subscription for trasnportation is more or less 40β¬ but it can be less (28β¬
