For theHaha, I've been so inactive lately. Though in truth, there's barely been a day where I don't go on Deviantart and specifically, the BFOI. So everyone remember that I'm always out there. And as a reminder I wanted to do something showing the Top 6 of Year 1 and the Top 6 of Year 2, because they're such amazing characters and who doesn't love a wee bit of fanart.
To the Top 6 with a week left now, the best of luck! Use every day wisely and I'm psyched to read your amazing entries! I'm rooting for every one of you!
Also, an honourable mention to Harvey, who not only has made it to the Top 6 of the 2nd Year, but (if my memory serves right) he was a part of the Top 10 of the first Year too! That really says something about and how he's managed to stay so strong in the game for so long.

AND NOW FOR SOME COMPLETELY USELESS TRIVIA ABOUT THE TWO TOP 6's!!!
The Bug-type is the least used type among all 12 trainers, with 1. Being Akia's Masquerain.
The Flying-type is the most used type, with all 12 trainers having at least 1 Flying-type on their teams each. There are no Rock or Fairy-types used by the Y2 Top 6. Orrin's Sableye is the only Ghost-type used by the Y2 Top 6. Rhea's Absol is the only Dark-type used by the Y1 Top 6. Remi's Flygon is the only Dragon-type used by the Y1 Top 6. Casper is the only one of the Y2 Top 6 to own an Ice and Poison-type. Rhea is the only one of the Y1 Top 6 not to own an Electric-type. Will is the only one of the Y1 Top 6 not to own a Water-type. (Unfortunately he cannot swim and can only die from drowning) Akia is the only female to own a Fire-type. Akia and Ion are tied out of all 12 trainers for the most owned Pure-type Poke'mon, owning 4 each. Coincidentally, their combined four dual-typed Poke'mon all have Flying as their second type. (Don't ask me how I detected that one!) There are six starter Poke'mon among all 12 trainers. Of those six, Harvey and Aidan own 2 each. Coincidentally, they're both a fire/fighting type and a pure water-type. Rotom is the most used Poke'mon among all 12 trainers, with nine. (However, this is due to Konn having an entire team of Rotom and Will having half a team of Rotom.) If Rotom isn't counted, then Xatu is the most used Poke'mon, with a total of 4. (Take note trainers for Y3- Xatu's get you to the end! 
) Rotom, Xatu, Skarmory, Togekiss, Lucario, Emolga, Porygon-Z, Espeon and Ninetales are the only Poke'mon that appear more than once between all 12 trainers. Of those 9 Poke'mon, Grace owns 4 of them. There are 4 Fairy-type Poke'mon among all 12 trainers, all owned by female trainers of the Y1 Top 6. There are 2 Rock-type Poke'mon among all 12 trainers, also owned by female trainers of the Y1 Top 6. Rhea, Will and Aidan are the only trainers of the Y1 Top 6 capable of achieving Mega Evolution. Orrin can achieve 3 Mega Evolutions, while all other trainers of the Y2 Top 6 can achieve 1 Mega Evolution each, except for Thomas, who can achieve none. And while I was drawing them all, I noticed that Aidan is the only member of the Y1 Top 6 who doesn't have his hair covering his ears. Go figure for obscure trivia. Cheers, if you stuck through and read all that rubbish which absolutely fascinated me! As a reward for not just skipping all that trivia, I'll reveal that for the last 6 months I've been working on a comic of Aidan's adventures. I currently have 20 pages ready to go, which I'll start uploading in the upcoming weeks. I'm really excited to share what I've done!

Sometimes I feel Y1 was swept under the rug but it makes me glad that there's some folks that remember our efforts. So thanks so much for this! The trivia was also fun to read (Gracidea's team is quite the trend-setter haha)

I was very flattered how many people responded to the Y1 Top 6 team. Even a couple of months ago, I came across an artist and they stated they remembered following the competition and reading my entries! I never realized how much attention it all got at the time.
DEFINITE Trend-setters. You could say there's a whole flock following you now. That was terrible. But I needed a bird pun in there somewhere, for old time sakes.

Incredibly sorry I didn't get around to writing a comment till 11 days later but I super appreciate you drawing Orrin! Also the Y1 and Y2 top six!! This is super fantastic to look at!! hehe it's really cool to see everyone in your style / and also side by side as well! I actually feel pretty bad I did not use Rakko more in my rounds 8'Dc then again she is a pet and not allowed to participate in the tourney SO it was a tad harder to include her. Still Orrin looks so cool in your style I can't get over it 8'Dccccc

I won't spoil here what happens in case anyone hasn't seen it yet! (fav.me/d8qqeog ) But you convey so much emotion and energy throughout your entire round. You really make Orrin relate-able as a character, a true protagonist! I am jealous of your ability to create such striking artwork and your use of blacks as shadow, it really makes the action pop!
The random facts were so fun! Once I started detecting some patterns between them, I couldn't stop. It definitely started with me trying to figure out which were the most used types and species. And the rest just appeared from there XD
I agree with Mega Sableye, so much trolling sass with that big gem.

Remi, Rhea and Grace were the final three remaining after the penultimate round, so history is favouring Akia passing onto the final round. All that analysis, though did you notice that for your last point, Orrin is the only one from Y2 with his ears covered by hair by default? Not too special on it's own, though the stats are now inverted. :3

Haha, I did notice that about Orrin. While I did like the fact Y1 went from one trainer showing ears, to Y2 having one with hair covering his ears, I felt it might have gotten a bit too obscure. I actually had a lot more trivia written down, I just tried to keep it to the more interesting ones. Some of them were very intricate, I was puzzling myself how I came up with the pattern.

Haha, I love your comment the best Rach, I've been thinking how best to respond to it. It's really funny and so true about having that power, because whenever you used to post something with Remi it made me want to draw Aidan and all the other guys again too.
I'm glad I'm not the only creep around the BFOI, and fo' sure I'll be entering Y3, it's too tempting not to bring them back with the time jump and all!
Hehe, geez, don't let me talk up Aidan's adventures too much, or at all really, it's probably just him walking and sleeping and shit. But having positive responses from you guys makes me feel a lot better about bringing this little secret project to light very soon! :3
