Another sketch. Another rough raw.
Been doing a whole lot of there lately.
Scenes in my head playing like movies.

In this one We have BB walking away from the still burning wreckage of Titans Tower.

Why is it a wreck? Hell if I know.... Yeah I do know but its more fun this way.

Scene:

The attack was swift and unexpected. In a matter of minutes the common room was aflame and the island's foundations began to rock back and forth. It was only a matter of time before the Tower fell.

The others sortied earlier, responding to the alarm and centering on the distress signal sent out from downtown Jump City. Apparently a mercenary army took control of a Wayne Enterprises building and we--I mean they had to 'handle' it.

That's right. I stayed. Not by choice mind you. I was injured a few days ago that left me with a somewhat bothersome back injury. Okay it was bad alright! People aren't meant to bend that way, especially when a narcissistic college boy in a giant robot suit decides to treat your spine like toothpick. Lucky for me I ain't no toothpick. Still hurt though, and I couldn't move for the duration of that battle. Boy that sucked.

Although it wasn't so bad. Raven and the others took care of it rather nicely. I have to admit slamming the guy repetitively from left to right like in the cartoons was pretty fun to watch, especially if Raven's doing it.

Didn't expect her to have gotten so mad though. I mean at me. She was all like, 'BEAST BOY! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!' and like 'HE COULD'VE KILLED YOU! YOU MORON' and 'I SWEAR IF YOU PULL ANOTHER STUNT LIKE THAT, I'LL KILL YOU MYSELF!' And she would! But it was the way she held me as she screamed those words that really hit home. I couldn't promise her that I would never do it again so I apologized instead.

That brings us back to me being locked in the tower. After they left, I was stuck in traction. Literally. The Tower was on high defensive and extreme security measures were in place in case of attempted break-ins or attacks. It was so secure that even I wouldn't be able to leave, not that I could any way. As an added plus, Raven and Cyborg left me with worried, sad and crazy angry death-glare should I even try to escape the contraption.

'Sit tight BB. We'll be back in no time. Just stay put and fix yourself up.' I nodded. 'REMEMBER!' Raven bellowed. 'NO SHIFTING. With your spine the way it is, you'd probably end up with a pretzel for a back if you tried anything so NO!'

I didn't know what was more surprising, the fact that she just made a subtle spine joke or the fact she said NO to me like anyone would a dog.

An hour or two after they left was when it happened.
Explosions, really strong ones. Enough to rumble the whole tower off-balance if more of them hit. Which they did.
From the way they sounded before impact it had to have been missiles. Lots of them. The alarm's were going crazy. The Self defense weapons were on high alert and from what I could understand from Cyborg as he told me later on-- so were the mobile anti-air weapons. But the explosions just kept coming.

Great! Just Great! Everybody's out and your in sickbay--paralyzed to a machine rotating me in every which way and very slowly I might add. It was nauseating. Not the being helpless part, but the rocking back and forth while tied to a slowly rotating 360 degree mechanical torture rack.

I spewed.

Minutes later, everything went dark.
I knew one of the missiles had struck the sick bay level, I knew because I was there. My ears were ringing and my body was in agony. Screams were escaping my mouth but I couldn't hear my own voice. I was on the floor. Everything was on the floor. And I couldn't move.

'Beast Boy! Beas--- oy! Respo--- Are you al-----'
It was Robin's voice. Despite the ringing I could still hear it.
My communicator! Where was it?

'Beast Boy! Res-------ease! Answer!'
Starfire? yeah had to be. Such a cute voice. Not right now though. Too panicked.

'BB! They want the TOWER---- Decoys! It was a tra----Get out of there!'
Easier said than done buddy. I cant see and I cant move. Hell, I can barely feel anything other than constant shaking around me.

'Beast Boy.'
Raven? Whoa her voice is so clear. As if she's right next to me.
That can't be the communicator can it?

'Please. We were ambushed. They wanted to take out the Tower to send some kind of message. We're trying to hold them off right now but they're "Not normal".'
Okay, since when is not normal surprising to us? Hell we're not normal.

'Their weapons are unlike anything we've faced and they've found a way to nullify my powers so I can't fight. Let alone get to you...'
....

'Gar. Be safe. I need you to be alright. Plea-----'
RAVEN! RAVEN!!! Hold on! Ugh!

She wasn't on the communicator. She was speaking to me telepathically. And if her voice just vanished like that then she-- NO!

And then everything went white....

I don't remember how long it was. I don't remember regaining my sight. I don't even remember standing up and walking out the door as the Tower collapsed behind me.

I don't remember the feeling of my bones stretching. My muscles burning. My skin shifting. I don't remember my screams. I don't remember our screams. I don't remember our roars. And I don't remember my mind waking up.

Next thing I knew I was walking onto shore and towards the city.
If I could remember anything, it was that my friends were in trouble and I---- well, I was really pissed off.

"This. Is not FUNNY."
