The last pages of Volume 2.Well, that took long enough. If you're still reading, thanks for bearing with me. I have some some other work to take care of and some development to do on Volume 3 in the coming months, but it'll pick up where this left off.

Standing there Calvin almost looks like The Mysterious Stranger. Shame the Smith & Wesson Model 29 won't be invented for 28 years, .44 Magnum would probably be to mush gun for him anyway.

the song Rocky was singing is called "Whiskey in the Jar." it's about a man that was betrayed to pirates by the woman he loved. i wonder if it has any plot significance...

THEORY TIME: For the opening scene in Lackadaisy, Rocky almost has his head cut off by the train, when he is shot at by the farmers in the bar/tunnel shoot out, the few shots we see aimed at Rocky are at his head ,and his head is slicked open in the corn field (which could have been what the first scene was foreshadowing). I think Rocky is going to die by the end of Lackadaisy, possible via being shot in the head? Ok, this is based on not very much, but mabye ?

I am little worried about Rocky's condition. If before he was crazy in funny way, now he totally looks like he is going to murder someone (even though he probably did before, but still)
BTW I recently have finished reading both Volumes. It is BRILLIANT. One of the best stories that I have ever read/seen with great characters and engaging story, with the most beautiful art. Always remember that

At first, I thought that a fan re-uploaded this picture with translated speech bubbles. But nope.
I can understand the old lady. Weird that they kind of seem like they understand each other despite speaking in different languages. Maybe it's just because they caught the name "Victor". Though in my experience, it's hard to identify the name in a foreign dialog sometimes.

Whether it's months or years between pages I would never stop following the progress of Lackadaisy.
