Don't reject it because it's unusual - it'll still taste the same in your stew.So there's apparently this new proposition to allow wonky fruit and veg into British supermarkets, because the rain this year has made crops so terrible that not using the weird veg is considered wasteful.
Ummm.. why wasn't it considered wasteful anyway?
What kind of world do we live in where our vegetables have to be uniform in shape?I

yeah, cucumbers have to be straight to be allowed into british supermarkets, and not too small and not too big either

The best carrot I ever saw was two-pronged, and looked like legs. I'm with you: it all tastes the same. I doubt they entirely go to waste though, the deformed ones. The farmers probably eat some, and the rest'd go into making pasta sauces and stuff where it's all chopped up and the public doesn't KNOW it was a deformed veg. XD

Four legged chicken? To be honest, the conditions most supermarket chickens are kept in are far more disgusting than the idea of a mutant chicken. Hell, I'd rather eat a four legged, six winged, three tailed free-range chicken than a normal factory-farmed thing.
