interesting angle, like silent dialog!

When I photographed the statue I wasn't really focusing on the gaze - I was really working to frame the tree behind the sculpture. But you're right, it does seem as though the statue is looking directly at the viewer. And I suppose, in that way, it does make a connection, a dialogue.
