Another BEAUTIFUL shot from Stillvisions!! My shirt is all wonky here, but I TOTALLY do not care! XD The title is a quote that Kimahri says to Rikku during the whole Wakka-is-being-an-idiot-for-hating-Al-Bheds ordeal and it has always been one of my favorites from the game!Things I need to fix up on this costume are: the shirt, the gloves, the wig, and the leg pouch and these will HOPEFULLY be done by Youmacon including my claw!! ><

Is everything sewn from scratch with this costume? I want to cosplay Rikku, but not that darn overdone yellow bra outfit. I'm tiny, but don't need to walk around with my boobs hangin' out. lol

yep! Everything was made from scratch except for the shorts were just modified from the shorts I had for my first FFX Rikku costume back in 2004 >< lol. But they're pretty much butchered from their original form now O_O.

haha well that was last year's Youmacon XD but this costume will be worn again soon I hope! It needs a lot of fixing up and a new shirt...again T_T.

sooo im sure you get this alot XD buuuut... what did u use material wise? Was it a pain to make.. and what not.. cause I've been dying to do a rikku costume.. and not the bikini one from x-2... i love this rikku and am partial to her. ive been asking around but some ppl seem rather hellbent on keeping their costume making a secret o.0 but ya any tips or hints would be much appreciated!!! ty

haha no worries! I used an orange upholstery vinyl for the shirt (ordered it from Ebay) and it was a BITCH (lol) to work with. This stuff broke a LOT of sewing machine needles and it was really really hard to get it to fit even remotely correctly (which is why my shirt looks really wonky all the time XP). If you want to work with vinyl I'd DEFINTIELY recommend getting the thinnest vinyl you can find, which admittedly is even harder to find! I've been searching for years for the right fabric and still haven't come up with anything XP. I hope that helps a bit

Not sure yet. That would require a lotttt of fixing up/remaking on this poor costume and Hiyoko-chan is probably sick of wearing her Yunie XD hahhaa but we'll seeeee
