Thanks! Man, I can't wait! I am currently in the last dungeon in Skyward Sword and Ocarina of Time, but I don't want the games to eeennnnndddd. I <3 them so much... I have a problem with closure haha. So, to procrastinate, I bought Kid Icarus: Uprising. I am so terrible about finishing games...

You know, I still haven't even played Twilight Princess. I come from the days when Zelda 8-bit came out (I was 14), so I need to get off my ass, get a Wii and play that damn thing. And of course, everyone loves Skyward Sword, so I must play that! Hopefully I'm up for the motion controls since my wrists don't bend. Yikes!
Ah, I will always love Ocarina. I got it for myself as a Christmas present in 1998 when my gf at the time (who in many ways was the love of my life) dumped me the week before. Silly to say, but Ocarina helped me through all of that. Such an amazing game. And you HAVE to see the ending! When Link returns the Master Sword, there's such an air of "We did this and that's that" between him and Navi. The closing credits are awesome, and the epilogue is beautiful. (sigh) I'm 39 now, but damn, that takes me right back to my early 20's.

I'm actually playing Twilight Princess on the gamecube (bloody hard to get a hold of one of those versions nowadays), but I've heard for the Wii version as long as you have a Wii/mote with motion plus you'll be okay. You have to have it to play Skyward anyways, so if you do plan on getting a Wii... I would highly suggest that. I think you could play on the Wii just fine! It might take you a bit to get into the groove and figure out what to do on account of your wrists, but the motions should go over just fine. The Wii is surprisingly forgiving. It has it's flaws, but the games aren't ever too finicky.
Awwww, that's so bittersweet... That must have been rough. I really do love the game- it is really marvelous, and has a fantastic story- I guess I didn't expect it to be so short. I've been spoiled as of late I suppose with the games of today that basically take an epoch to finish. I'll finish it soon I guess, maybe so I can restart it again and actually get all of the bloody golden skulltelas. Those little buggers can be hard to find! However, I still adore the Zelda universe. I know its always the same base characters... but somehow I feel like that is one of the best things about the games. There are so many reasons why I love the series so much. It's probably my top favorite thing one can garner from the various forms of media in the world. I don't know why, but it's one of those things I'll always love, no matter what.

You know, I always wondered that too! Hylia what is this crap I have to go through insane quests to get to Skykeep or {insert dungeon}and the monsters are already here. What is this crap. Oh well. I guess it keeps life interesting! But I certainly agree with you, Link totes deserves a break. Poor baby. He needs a vacation.
