I kinda ignored the 'art rules' on this one. The color would get an F in any classroom. But you know what? I like it. I like that I left a lot of negative space. I like that the colors are tacky. I flew by the seam of my pants on this one and I'm damn proud of that. The colors make sense only to me so I'll explain them: Blue and Red make Purple. Dark Brown hair and Light Blond hair make Brown hair... hehe.-some reference used

Now I see it! The color explanation is very clever--like she's a meld or something. And the melded individual is the only one looking straight at the viewer...pieces like this that make people think are awesome.
Also--all art teachers are crazy.
