© 2013 Tor-Ivar NæssMy intention wasn't to capture the northern lights last night, the idea was to capture the stars, but well it was kinda hard capturing only stars with this aurora veil stretching over the sky.
I'm not complaining, I'm just saying that this wasn't planned
The title is a follow-up to my Take Me Home, just to be as funny as that is

Apart from the capture and beautiful colours, I also like the diagonals creating this composition. It feels either misterious and dynamic. Like might and magic.

I've always loved the Aurora Borialis, and the myth that it is a road to Heaven for the departed. The Eskimos and Nordic people have a lot of interesting myths about it and luck and photos go hand in hand.

I like the road, and when I zoomed in I actually noticed the stars more than the lights.
Wow, it looks so cool with that little patch of sunlight-like stuff past the road, all glowing.
