I decided that it was about time i redesigned Jae. I in no way liked his earlier designs and had to do something about it! He looked like i just . . . I DON'T EVEN KNOW! and i made him older. not sure how old. if you'd like to tell me how old you think they look, that would be great.

Jae is Tori and Kira's kid. Tried not to make him look much like them because i want him to be different. His personality is a lot different as well. He's the kind of goody-two-shoes kid that loves to stay out of trouble. He's shy around most people, but he is easily angered or confused. he'll yell at people if he doesn't understand what they're saying or really if they do anything to upset him. he isn't very active in retrospect to his parents that seem to work out around the clock. he's sick a lot and too weak to join any sports. He's very intelligent for his age, but can't seem to relate to any of the other kids in his school so he spends most of his time alone. He wishes that he could be more like his father and have people like him. because of this, he hates himself for the fact that he isn't artistic or athletic and can't really do anything good for the world because of his age. He doesn't like his mom because she gets in to too much trouble and doesn't act her age.

Asuna is Jae's friend whom he'd met when she returned something that he'd lost in the schoolyard. Unlike Jae, she is "academically challenged" because of her dyslexia and ADHD. she's very athletic and tries out for as many sports as she can in a year. mostly it's because she has nothing else to do. she hates being at home because ever since her father died, her mother has been depressed and mopes around the house all the time. Asuna tries her hardest in everything that she can, but outside of sports, she isn't that good at anything. once returning Jae's lost item, she saw an opportunity to make a friend and clung to him like sap, even though he didn't really return the feelings. eventually, they did truly become friends though.
Asuna wears a small plushie cat tied around a string on her wrist. it's a gift her father had brought back for her just before he died. she never takes it out of her sight. Jae always makes fun of her for it because it's so dirty, as it has never been washed.

well, i didn't expect you to read that all, but i wrote it anyway. oh well. so! what do you think of the characters? this is my first design of Asuna so her character will obviously change a lot since i don't really like it at the moment.
