I’m a bit sad that I’ve never seen Eluveitie live with Meri because she’s kinda cool, but I have to admit that the new album has grown very well on me, nevertheless. And speaking of strings, those in “Carry the Torch” are so hardbreaking that I’m often inclined to describe my current mood as “the strings in Carry the Torch”.

My favourite instruments, by the way, are flutes and strings, especially the fiddle and the cello, just in case you didn’t know that already.
