Description

Angela Franklin from Night of the Demons.  She's got a normal form and a demonic form so I went for kind of a half and half.  Actually if you watch the movie close she's wearing regular cross earrings until she gets possessed and then they're upside down the rest of the movie.  I also wanted way more blood on her teeth but couldn't quite achieve that but I think it still works.  I went with the anime and RPG filters because otherwise I was losing the color and skin tone.

So I'm doing obscure horror for Halloween, Halloween themed characters and the like, and what decade had more obscure horror than the 80's?  The 70's, but it was rhetorical!  And what movie had more cliches than Night of the Demons?  I dunno, so let's go with this.

If you weren't alive or undead back then you have to understand it was a time when horror was king and everybody was trying to cash in, even the Italians.  Every kid knew who Freddy Krueger was and the only ones who hadn't actually seen him slash someone up probably had to go to bed at 7.  We were at the zenith of our culture even if we were lucky to get 30 channels.  And I'll tell you why kids.  We had Halloween.  I mean real Halloween, not that Trunk or Treat shit.

Aside from the big movies that everyone remembers there was alot of second string stuff that got big on VHS and cable later like Night of the Demons, popular enough if you were a horror buff you'd know it, not quite popular enough if you weren't.  And of course the critics hated it all, but piss on them, if it was up to them we'd watch nothing but E.T and Amadeus.

Night of the Demons had everything an 80's horror movie needs.  Haunted house (actually a funeral parlor called Hull House, get it?), demonic possession, Linnea Quigley, copious gore and nudity and a very interesting dance sequence with strobe lights I recommend checking out:

I'm really more of a Sal, I'm surly and I lay it on thick.  Don't listen to Stoogie, he doesn't know what he's talking about and that blood had to come from somewhere ya know?  They did a remake but I couldn't sit through it.  I don't know, maybe it's decent, I won't tell you I never bowed out of something I wound up liking later.

And I also believe in exposing people to entire movies in the form of music videos
