God damn I am sorry, I don't mean to spam so much sonic out of no where but I got this huge inspiration to draw these guys.

You know I was always kind of upset the sonic universe never had more kick ass bugs. Like all I know is Charmy the Bee...which I never really was into. So i thought why not make a team of kick ass baddie bug guys!!!! These are some of the strongest minons of a certain Queen Bee character I wanted to make but probably wont draw till later.

Amelia the Widow
Age: 30
Mini Bio: Being the only none insect of the group, this arachnid is a bit of a reclusive, tending to work more so by herself. She has a dark cynical nature and often keeps the team on her toes with jokes about making them her next meal....we hope they are jokes anyways. Amelia is a ninja by profession and is the fastest on the ground by far. She can create ninja like weapons from her webs like ninja stars, kunais, choking wire, swords etc. You would think this would be a fairly useless weapon but the string she produces tends to extremely strong and sharp. She wears a special set of blade like boots and leg cuffs, that when combined by making extremely sharp webs, allows her to run across them. If she spins it right they have incredible durability and are quite sharp. Aside from many obvious perks of being a spider, her fangs can inject a horrid toxin that will paralyze the body of her victims. This suits her well as she would much rather enjoy her prey suffer then kill them immediately....wow....what a bitch.

Slag the Cockroach
Age: 34
Mini Bio: Slag is the kind of guy you would probably sit at the opposite side of a subway from. This filthy, rather stoned looking hobo is no pretty face as he is constantly crawling with little roaches. This is because Slag can control them and in large swarms. They seem to move to his will and will send swarms of them at his opponents. One roach is nothing, but try a wall of 300 of the little things and they will have you off your feet in a moment. Not to mention, the bites from these things can cause swelling and infection..well you do the math. Slag himself is fairly slow and sluggish without the swarm to help him move, but he is no where near weak. Thanks to his diet of eating pretty much anything he finds, he has an extremely foul and somewhat acidic breath. Its even worse when he decides to hurl the days meal at you. Nasty i know, but the acid does well through burning through walls and flesh. On top of this, THE STUPID BASTARD WONT DIE. Crush him, stab him, blow him up, poison him, he just always seems to come back with a small headache.

Cleetus the Rhinoceros Beetle
Age: 68
Mini Bio: The largest and heaviest of the crew, Cleetus is what you would assume to be the most intimidating, however that tends not to be the case. Quite the opposite actually. Even though he fights often with a nasty crew, he is probably the nicest old fart you will ever meet, often making friends or telling a story about his past to his opponent accidentally. When he does get into battle, watch out. Armed with extreme strength a nearly impenetrable armored body, this guy will tackle tanks and wrestle even the most fierce beasts around. His massive horn can be used to flip things over his back and while he can fly far, he does have wings to help him get around.

Mimi the Moth
Age: 23
Mini Bio: A clumsy and somewhat overly stressed Moth, Mimi is more of a clumsy, overly stressed book worm more then anything else. And who can blame her, the Moth takes more responsibilities then she is capable of handling, whether its organizing troops or personal queen orders, or reading through paper work. She barley makes time for herself to rest and eat and this often has her being very snappy when people get in her way or slow her down. She may not look like it, but she can be a nasty one to fight in battle. Her large furry wings are not only great for creating extreme windy conditions, but they release nasty particals that have a number of effects she can control. They can be like little metal shards sticking into you, put you asleep, paralyze, poison, even cause nasty explosion if she throws fire into the mix. Best way to keep her off your back, is to keep off hers, she is way to busy to deal with you.

Rigby the Flea
Age: 26
Mini Bio: At first glance, you may assume Rigby is a kid, and if you say it out loud, your head will probably be through the pavement. Yes, this little guy has a nasty attitude, and after being called shorty or kid for so long, he has become quick tempered and a potty mouth. The worst part about it is he is the second strongest physically of the crew, right after Cleetus. Yup this guy will throw people 10x his size across the room, and he is the kind of guy that will not only start a bar fight, but finish it. Along with his strength, he holds the record for longest jump, constantly being mistaken as a flyer. If all else fails, he has one more nasty trick up his sleeve. By biting the back of his opponents neck, he can connect himself to their nervous system and take control of their body. YEESH. His favorite weapon is a knife he keeps strapped over his shoulder, but its pretty big compared to him so its more like a sword.
