It was soo sad in the separate timeline when she had to shoot Madoka's soul gem. Her cries ;^;
I had much more respect for her when I learned why she cares about Madoka so much.

Just found this anime today and watched till episode 10 with two friends! It's so sad. Episode 10 almost had me crying. It's so great and so sad too. Poor Homura. I thought she was just an odd antagonist at first but now I understand, and can't believe the sacrifices she made.
