Kira in her transformed state. In this form 75% of her body is photon energy, the same energy that angels are made of. This 75% is the part of the body that Irie makes up, the rest of the 25% being the human cells that are 'Kira'. Kira has full consciousness and control of this body and its functions, while Irie is responsible for healing any damages and supplying the energy Kira needs to fight. However, this shared existence can take a toll on Kira's part of the body, so she cannot expel too much angelic energy, or else her part of the body dies, unable to handle so much power. This would leave behind only Irie, a full angel.

Kira's part of the body is in a constant state of limbo, surviving off of Irie's energy but dying at the same time. Should Irie gain too much control, Kira's body would surely die and only the angel would be left behind, along with her consciousness. She would just become an aspect of Irie's personality, a soul the angel would absorb.

I just watched all of Devilman Crybaby and just HAD to revisit my two OC's.

Don't own Devilman, though. That franchise belongs to Go Nagai entirely.
