The ones we spoke to seemed very friendly, apart from one idiot we met in a bar, who was arguing that Bruce Springsteen was a Jew. Plus a nasty security guard, who didn't like me standing in the middle of the road on the Chain Bridge, on the night before the St Steohens firework display.
Enjoyed it on the whole.

You were at Hungary at a wrong time. Around St. Stephen's Day and every other memorial days the neonazis are crawling out of their holes to try and create a fight and the police try to avoid it as usual. I'm sorry you had to see that but I'm glad you liked the country.
