Description Fiber optics - the new way to communicate is with pulses of light.

Created in Apophysis; no post work except for text. My longest render yet - around 72 hours. I know, don't say it but I wanted to get the smokey tones solid for the print version. Check out an enlarged portion here [link]

I have to say Tom, this is one of my top favorites yet. its so fluid and smooth.....no wonder it took you 72 hrs.....i couldn't do something like that until this summer, b/c i need my laptop everyday.....lol.....its really awesome......keep it up man.

I'm not sure what drives you to create the masterpieces you do, Tom, but you do it well.
Have you ever thought of exploring more of the dark and sinister parts of your artwork?
Pieces like this, Severed, and Dark Heart of Lucifer are simply gorgeous. You have an uncanny knack for combining the best colors to release a type of mood into the picture.
Kudos Tom, and another favorite of mine you've made.

Thanks. What a nice comment. I have done a few others, "Planet Hell", "The Devil's Throne", "The Devil is in the Details", and "Entrance Into Hell" are a few. Also you should check out some of my poetry, it's quite dark.

Beautiful--both texture and colors...the sharp zig-zags are a nice contrast to your usual smoothness.
