I like this one even better. The addition of the fisherman sort of gives the picture a "look how small we are in the face of this majestic sky" kind of feel!

Tom, judging from the EXIFs of your photos there shouldn't be so much noise.
I don't know what software/processing you are using and I'm not expert in post processing, but something is definately off.
Perhaps it's the result of resizing and/or incorrect sharpening. sharpening.

Again with this shot, the horizon is very tilted and that's off-putting enough that crooked photos are usually declined.
