Mr. Tom Welling aka Clark Kent.....yep again
I got stuck and frustrated with my latest drawing and needed to make something else.
I started this for distraction and practice. Most of my drawings don't have much skintexture, so i made some brushes
(some kind of spray) and used for every color another layer, well and that's the result
It's still not near any photorealism, due to the high contrast i used, but i think it brings out his beauty even more
So i hope you like it too

PS: i know Tom has green eyes, but i thought blue is more to CK

i think back to this time, i drew Tom quite a lot, i had his facial feautured memorized.
soo just keep drawing, over and over and over again... and someday it'll just flow...
i should take my on advise and got back into drawing

I have such a hard time drawing him. I started one picture in January and didn't finish until this week. I did take breaks in between though. How long did that take you?

Oh thats a good question, usually you can read it in my description how long it took. It depends on how i draw him...traditional or digital.
between 10-30hours, i guess. I'm really not a fast drawer
And i take time too if i'm not happy with a drawing.
I admit he isn't easy to draw but i did it so often, guess it really is a matter of practice.

Absolutely marvelous! You've done a wonderful job. I don't think I've seen such accuracy. Best Tom Welling piece on DA. I hope you would draw a Clois piece! I can't imagine how you'd be able to capture Erica durance features.

Awwwwww eyegasm....such a nice word for it. I just love Toms face, he is incredible beautiful and always a challence for me that is, to draw him and capture his beauty. I'm glad you like this drawing so much, it really is one of my personal faves.
And yeah actually you are right i didn't pay attention to the shirt and if i'm honest i didn't even recognized it before you mentioned it

Actually when i started it, i didn't intend to look it like that, it just happend...by giving the drawing more contrast.
