Description
An old shrine used to house good kami spirits and to cleanse the body and the soul. (The cleansing is done by passing through the portal)Made with 3ds Studio Max 7.

Man I've got two words here - Sky.
It's THE sky. And I love it. Nice atmoshpere with the lanterns, the shrine is, well, a shrine, well rendered and all, but it's the background that underlines the whole exotic feeling.

The pic is very good and realist
the water is so cool BUT i think that that....line around the water shouldn't be there.
the earth is fine (I like it!!) but the mountains are too perfect...I don't know if you know what I mean.
Finally the lights are a great detail for the pic.

I like the unearthly feeling to this and the feeling of solitude as well. Especially when the temple looks like it's from another planet or another world that we cannot touch. Well done ^^

Seeing how they wern't edited in but are actual 3D spheres created inside the software, I guess you can't see them either because they're too small or because they are too far away from the face of the lake. Anyhow they are spirits so I guess they pass without reflections, hehe

ooh...Ever heard of a gmae called morrowind. It it a very big roleplaying game. It also has a huge construction set (that the developers used!) to make the game! These 3d Objects could be even used in game for mods! You could be a great modder!

I love the colours used here, a very soft effect. The shrine really stands out and I love how it is the focal point because the sand forms around the bottom of it. The faint reflections in the water are also great

Omg telling me that my work looks as good as if it was taken from WoW is the biggest compliment anyone has ever given me. I wish I'll go work in Blizzard some day when I get more proffesional with the program. THANKS!
