HellooooThe other day at midnight I had this urgeee to leave work for a bit and draw something soft and flowy-flowy then color it with watercolors. Two hours later I had the lineart for this, but was too much of a chicken to color it traditionally (guess who lacks practice!), so I scanned it in and decided to practice that not-much-care-for-colors-over-lines-and-try-to-make-it-look-like-a-painting challenge that I've been doing in my past pictures. XD I really like how it turned out! : ) Fail empty background though, err...oops. : P
I happily spent my last few hours as a teenager coloring this, haha!
crap I'm oooooooold D:Oh, and I haven't played the game but I have it on my PSP! Ready for...the supposed upcoming blackouts tomorrow because of the new typhoon. ;A; Stay safe you guys!

I wasn't a big fan of Saber until Type Moon released Saber Lily. Hell the figma figure of her got me to actually watch the series. This piece is rather special... Aside from the awesome lineart, the colours and colouring style is perfect. Nice and light... I was skeptical about the lack of a visible face at first but now I find it possesses a melancholic quality... I really like it! It would be nice if there was a very light fading field of lilys for a background though.

I might have broken the chain right here, haha! I originally wanted to draw her eyes too but it somehow didn't look like how I wanted it to, so I removed it. I guess that's a pretty big mistake there, need watch out for it next time. XD And thank you! : )

I liiiiiiike the shading of the wrinkles on the cloth and the metal. I think you got 'soft" and "flowy-flowy" just right, even if you didn't use watercolors (which I wanna see from you someday 8D).

Really? Well, frankly, I find it a bit strange your friend said that. O_o The turth is, with my monitor settings, you can see a very large range of different shades withing one colour, so I'm quite sure your friend's monitor just hasn't got the contrast turned up enough, causing it to make a lot of shades look like the same colour. I can tell you put a lot of thought into how to do the shading here. ^_^

I can't see any bit of the drawing where the colours would go over the lines, it's just perfect like this. I never knew how to paint digitally, but you managed to make this look like some kind of a watercolour picture
