"...Kai and Shanory searched through the night." No 'has' or 'have' necessary, 'searched' is already a past tense form of a verb.
"And in the morning..." We say in instead of at. I'm not sure why but that's just how English says it. Its 'in' the morning, afternoon, or evening, and 'at' noon, night, midnight, or any very specific time such as '3 o'clock'.
