I've always loved steampunk stuff, and this was a chance for me to do something about it. I was sitting in my dorm room and heard this dubstep song blasting from outside and I bought it the next day cuz, let's face it, Skrillex is a boss.

Anyway, I tried to imagine what I would look like if I were steampunk-esque. So, upon hearing the twisting, churning, piston-pumping, gear-grinding iron sounds coming from "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites," I was like: "I need to draw this." So the idea came down on paper in sketches about four times before I sat down at a desk and drew this in ink. I expected it to be a sketch as well, but... yeah

I would've actually titled the piece "The Unstoppable Teknopunk War Machine," but it didn't fit. Anyway, enjoy X)
