I like this drawing, but I really dig the informative post! I consider myself something of a Spiderfan, but I didn't know anything about this manga. It's too bad they apparently butchered it in translation -- I would've been really interested in reading it! And I guess I can see getting burnt out on old Mr. Parker. I think I was so into Spidey in large part because of his rogues gallery -- with foes like Venom, the Lizard, and the Hobgoblin (+v for the possessed version prior to the Demogoblin split), Spidey couldn't help but have an interesting comic. Great art didn't hurt either. Thank you for the lesson, Professor tOkKa!

-->> Dude...reading the description and looking at your pop art for the manga made me wanna read it and get into it. I sorta knew there was a Spidey manga cuz someone from school told me about, but I had no freakin' idea that it was as intense as you described it to be... I try to stay away from the current Spidey comics as much as possible cuz old school and like, manga stuff is where its at. I truly thank you for this revival -- for lack of a better word -- of the manga Spidey. The colors -- everything is just so elegant about this. In fact, I can't find anything wrong with it. So, you did this in '98, huh? It's great seeing somethin' from the tOkKa Archival on here. Heck, we didn't know each other in '98, but I think your art has improved since then. What was your level of education (like what grade you were in) in '98?

Well, that sounds interesting. I'm sure the llamas you were married to enjoyed your animal tOkKa-ness. At least you tried. FTW!
