A pencil sketch of myself that became an antlered painting... yay. (I kept some of the pencil texture, which is nice)

This is part of my artwork for the fine art course I'm studying in college; I'm taking characters from myths that form our western cultural conscience, and putting them in modern contexts be it t-shirts or alcoholism. My end goal is a large traditionally painted piece in a style reminiscent of the Romantic Era. This could be Cernunnos, a Celtic/Pagan god or just a Satyr type thing, tell me what you think.

I did a picture of my friend as a Satyr not uploaded for reasons and when I showed him this of me, I said this one is the Antlered one, so the name isn't as cool as it may seem, or not have seemed.

Please feel free to ask questions, tell me what you think and I'd especially love a critique.
