Well, so it seems that I'll sound repetitive when I say that the hand movement is beautiful and subtle. The black coloured background fits perfectly and his expression is very well caught in the moment. My biggest compliments to this artwork of yours ;}

The hand gesture has been rendered well, anatomically speaking. What I really like about this, though, is the ambient glow to the figure and the sleepy/disinterested expression on the face. All combined, the image exudes that kind of stoic "coolness" that people tend to like, you know? Your trademark usage of texture overlay has also been utilized well, especially on the hair. Speaking of textures - not that I intend to copy your technique, mind you - how do you go about creating the overlays? Is it light filter usage? Desaturating photographs of sheet metal? Black magic? ...Pink magic?

ohh for the textures, I just create a new layer, brush around or use a textured image and then play around with the blending modes, usually i would use something like overlay or softlight

Something about the pose, expression and the texture... it looks experimental but so... skillfully done. I like this piece. And I was just trying to draw someone pointing myself yesterday. Yours looks much better.

I really like the realistic feel to this piece...I mean it's still "anime"ish, but something about it makes it real. It might be the coloring too. Your work reminds me a lot of BLEACH as well...nice job with this.
