thanks for your feedback
the two objects going through the ring are asteroids/meteors/comets from deep space and just made a flyby to the planet... they have nothing to do with the foreground elements or the ring itself.

Fine work, and educational as well. Would certainly recommend aspiring space artists have a look and consider the violent effects placing your exoplanets for a striking (pun not intended) effect may have when realism becomes involved:
And that, boys and girls, is why we don't draw moons with orbits intersecting rings.
Thanks for sharing!

Somebody enjoyed my work, I got to help somebody, and I got a great compliment on a DD, if not my own -.o
I'd say it has been a good day.

Β Brilliant. reminds me of photos seen in encyclopaedias or National Geographic (NG) magazinesΒ or the NG channel programs. Also, reminds me of science fiction stuff. Cool.

I especially like the dust disturbance from the asteroid, how it is literally carried along. A beautiful illustration.

One of the best representations of a brown dwarf I've seen. I can easily imagine them looking like this (with our without the rings) The asteroid plummeting through the rings is such a surreal looking effect and very cool.
