But... to be honest... Bolin hasn't really had any funtion after ep 5.
This kinda makes me think that the creators just used him to heat Makorra up a bit, and now taht he's served his purpous, he's just another unimportant side-character without any real funcion.

ugh, i just hate that makorra shippers are (more or less) only into the ship because mako is hot. i mean, if makorra does happen, it'd be pretty shitty of bryke to just pair the main female protagonist with the "hot one."
also. masami is just so sweet. i really do like them together and i hate all of the slut shaming the makorra shippers have been doing for "stealing" mako. absolutely unacceptable.
also! i think bolin is a super lovely dude, but thats no reason for korra to be into him. if shes not into someone, shes not into someone. i just think that mako is a jerk and korra obviously doesn't really know him. i mean, we can't blame her for having a crush on an attractive fellow and not knowing them well enough to tell that hes kind of a jerk--it happens to a lot of people. additionally, it doesn't mean shes a bad person for liking him, nor does it say that shes making a bad choice for pursuing him. i just hate the idea of korra being with someone who i believe to be a total asshat.
...and as for the "friend-zoning" thing, i'm about to make a journal post on that so hang in there. xP
