That hairclip just perplexes me. Maybe it's different in the manga, but in the anime it just appears. He suddenly starts wearing a hairclip at certain times. No explanation, no reasoning, no nothing. I know it's not particularly significant, and I can extrapolate why he has it, but come on, nobody thought it was worth mentioning? And then at a certain point he just stops wearing it. Even in the montage at the end of the anime series where he's in class, he's still not wearing it.

The funny thing is I have the exact same hair clip! I was wearing it to keep my bangs out of my eyes while checking out my deviant art when I saw this. >__> Rin's stealing my awesome fashion ideas. . .
