A sketchy bust of a Sandfury Blood Drinker my friend made so that we could indulge in molesting my Kai'fi, who in our AU-AU RP world is visiting Zul'Farrak and getting his first lesson in hot...er....cultural exchanging. Yeah, we'll call it that.She described his basic colors to me and said she was inspired by a sand troll character ~aureath concepted, which is a great example of a few of the Warcraft canon aspects of the race (like the fact they have blue eyes and tough, leathery skin that is mostly shades of brown) mixed with other details based on cultural influences. I like the Egyptian and Middle Eastern bases of Tanaris, specifically Uldum, and used aspects of their common shapes and symbols for his tattoos. If I ever do a full body pic of him (which I want to because the RPs are hot and would make for good smut >_>), I might flesh them out, but there wouldn't be much more than what is shown. Being a Blood Drinker, I imagine there is symbolism and importance centered around the mouth and teeth (hence the tattoos on the jaw). The rest of the marks would radiate out from the center of his chest, as a Blood Drinker consumes the essence of his enemy to imbibe their very energy and strength. I might think of some sort of rune/shape/symbol that'd be a good mark for the center of the design.

nice hair style along with the spiral looking braid, some kind of rasta perhaps? those blue eyes are utterly perfect i contrast with his skin and hair color. I like how you draw scars, i struggle to draw em myself so i might study your way of doing em to learn a little 
Ant lion model of tusks, cool model i admit but might get a little in the way perhaps for things. though im sure he knows how to work around them :3

Thank you! It's actually canon that most Farraki trolls have blue eyes (though I am sure a few don't), and I really love that from a design stand point.
Scars used to be something I had problems with too. The easiest way to "color" a scar is just to choose a color slightly darker from the skin and make your scar. Then choose either the lighter skin color, or a slightly off color version of it (like pink if it's a new scar, or something green-ish if it's infected) and just trace on top of the dark scar, but not quite fully on top of it. Does that make sense? Come to one of my Livestreams one day, and I'll show you how!

it really sticks out and enchants the person looking at them i would think even if it could be a deadly encounter. I do believe most troll tribes are quite territorial so maybe they also wouldn't look kindly upon strangers x)

You shouldn't need a livestream account to just watch. I have it set up so anyone can come in and watch and chat, so that shouldn't be a problem! I usually post on my Tumblr when I am streaming. I try to do some in the afternoon my time so those in European time zones can watch me sometime too!

It just depends on the stream. Sometimes I start from scratch. Sometimes I continue something done in a previous stream, or from something I worked on alone. It just depends

i love the black tusks of the Sandfury. This one is especially delicious. As always, beautiful art. His coloring is exactly how I would envision a Sandfury...and his eyes! *swoon then licks*
And as far as misaligned tusks..I don't really see that they are? I sorta like the way you have his positioned. It's unique and interesting. Now for a full body of him! I would eat that shit up xD

I'm not sure if this is a critique or not >_> I like my trolls to have tusks far set in the back of their mouth (personal preference), and I wanted to do something different for Ayoshi's instead of just the upward-sloped ones. While I'm sure the facial anatomy isn't wholly correct, I don't think they are that misaligned. :/

I -think- I can see what Graychild1 is getting at, let's see if I can word it a little more productively.
The way his head is turned, it looks like more of the tusk should be hidden behind his face, especially because, as you said, they start so far back. I would think you'd only be able to see a bit of the end of his far tusk, using the one in front for comparison. Either that or the perfect alignment of the tips is throwing me off. From that perspective I -think- the rear one would appear to be a tiny bit shorter.
If you really want to check, a couple of bananas and a mirror would be a way to see how it would actually look. (That sounded so very wrong, sorry.)

Yeah, I do agree with that, which is why I said the anatomy of the face might not be completely correct. The right tusk probably does need to sit a bit farther back. And actually putting something in my mouth (I don't eat bananas, but I do have chop sticks at least! Haha) would be a good reference. Thanks for the constructive crit
