Description
With the help of SomeBioFan, I recently hosted a Collab build!

For anyone who doesn't know what a Collab build is, it is where you take characters/ideas/etc., gather a group of people who will all build a small part to contribute to that overall theme/idea chosen.

For this Collab, the task was to build/revamp one of the eleven Toa Mangai (and Kodan), stylized after the astatic of one of LEGO's many themes! This Collab was also set specifically in Stud.io, for a final group shot to be made.

Here is my contribution to the collaboration:

Nidiki
Based off of the theme "Legends of Chima"!

For this build, Nidiki was my first choice, as I really wanted to bring that stealthy, sneaking, uneasy feel to the character, without having to edit my original MOC which I intend to use for the official canonization contest.
Then I started taking inspiration from Chima's crocodile based characters, taking ideas more from the minifigure's prints themselves, rather than the buildable figures.
Overall he is bulkier, yet more poseable than previous Nidiki MOCs I have made, as I was able to add butterfly joints on the inside so the arms have a wider range of movement.
His scythe is a lot heavier than in previous versions I have done. Here is where I really dove into ideas from the Chima buildable figures.

All that said, I had a lot of fun making him.

Instructions

To wrap up, it was a great Collab. Went very smoothly, even with a number of hiccups. Had a lot of fun, everyone who contributed was just awesome, and their work was just all around amazing! Hope to do more in the future!
