Kal's dagger was his Biological father's knife. Kal's biological father was not Mandalorian. Kal was later adopted by a Mandalorian.

In all fairness I never stated that this was a traditional dagger or a mock up of Kal's. I just wanted a Mando themed Dagger. The newer one is 100% better than the 1st one I made.

Fair enough and it looks pretty boss, though in the books doesn't it state that the dagger is his Adopted (mando) fathers knife?

In the books his father's knife is how he earned his mandalorian name, Kal cut his adopted father's face with his dead biological father's Tri-bladed knife. It was the one thing Kal kept from his childhood.

hmmmm you might be right I would have to re-read the books, but I read in other locations when researching mando about how mandolorians see the galaxy split in a blade of 3 sides: sith, jedi and mando. Of course that could have always been fan made.

I had scuplted it out of modeling compound and glued it to the dagger blade before Ihadpaintedit.
