Description the counterparts for my cardinals, blue jays ^_^
tried to make these guys look more streamline and masculine, but ya -.-

Whoa, I just thought up of my Pokemon based on blue jay, too. Only difference is that it evolves into roadrunner-like Pokemon.

i think you can really use some realistic references for the feet and overall anatomy. not that these are not good. but i can see room for improvement.

i think you don't really need to sketch them like anatomic drawings. i think you just need to look at the forms in order to get the weight of the bird onto the feet.

i just thought blue is usually associated with males and and red with females


though ya'know how baby boys are blue and girls are pink? it used to be the other way around cuz pink is close to red, which is an aggressive color and blue is more passive ^_^
