Another shot from the fireworks at "lysfesten" (the festival of lights) in the middle of Bergen. Clever !SinWin found a nice spot with a great view!

The detail I like the most in this picture, is the red sparkles coming off the white flashes. The 5 second shutter speed makes them look like some splashes of ham coming from an exploding jar or something like that

Oh my goodness, such perspective in this picture! The buildings and lights look so small compared to the slowly getting bigger fireworks! I love this one - a VERY festive feel to it! Especially with the big explosion of fireworks right in the middle!

Fireworks is fyrverkeri right?

Oh, I just noticed! If you look closes, they're little wavy lights here and there! How cute! It reminds me of birds for some reason, how very cute!

I think the buildings and all look even smaller in SinWin's picure I am so glad we decided to not stand down in the crowd this year. The view we had now was so much more awesome than what we could see from down in the city!

Wow, imagine how hard it would've been to get these lovely photos in a crowd! I've always wanted to go on the roof of my house to take pictures, but I don't think my parents approve of that...

Down there in the crowd, you'll have lots of heads and tons of smoke in the way. I've seen some shots taken from there, and they're not nearly as neat as the ones SinWin and I got, in my opinion.

It can hardly hurt to ask your parents, though. If they agree, you can get some pretty nice shots from there ^^

Our neighbour let his daughters on the roof of their house and called him crazy XD, so I don't know if that'll be okay...

Most of our fireworks are downtown, quite a ways from where I live so it'd be hard for me to get pictures there!
