Well I can color it and be on time next year I guess. It turns out that the repair shop wasn't able to fix my computer - it was thoroughly scorched from a bad power adapter. So I had to get a new one.In this case I was dragged kicking into a Vista "upgrade" ... the computer's much better on paper than my old one but performance doesn't seem to be much better so far.
Anyway, Halloween-ish genericosity. The gal came out more cutesy than I intended, but I ran with it and made the little props and stuff silly. The spider is kind of supposed to have an anime expression ^^ but with a bunch of eyes...don't think it really works.

I dunno, I totally got the spider when I saw it.
And yes, vista sucks. On the flip side though, my friends who are upgrading to windows 7 seem to be getting bluescreened a lot.
Anywho, I think this is pretty nice.

Oh, that's good. I wasn't sure it'd make sense.
Is there an operating system without problems? I'll probably live with it, though I might downgrade to XP. I'd have to buy 7 new and I was already broke when I had to replace the computer.

Meh, I really can't afford a new operating system on top of the new computer. I may yet try to make the machine take XP...
Anyway isn't 7 pretty close to Vista in terms of taking resources to run?
