This frumpy little cat captures my mood exactly on my first week back at work... but I can't help but smile seeing her pout like "I hate this..." :'DReal quick pen on notebook sketch before bed - approx. 1 hour

Hmmm this is exactly why I don't upload anything without watermarks - I initially thought it was ok with sketches, but apparently not.Β I guess the person who posted didn't mean to take credit but it's still annoying when they don't tell people where they got the images from.Β I've commented and tagged the official grumpy cat too coz the question was raised.Β Thanks for notifying me!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure she didn't mean to look like that she drew it. Β Prolly thought ti was cool and brought it to the pages attention. Β Though, it be nice if they would just post a link to your dA account or somewhere of your FB page instead.
And by the way, how did you think your sketches were safe? Β Your sketches are amazing. Β Of course someone's gonna mindlessly upload it on FB.

Hi! I was wondering if it's alright if I trace your sketch in Illustrator? (it's for a vector picture I have an idea for. Nothing serious, just for fun.) But I do want to upload it to deviantart and of course I'll credit and link back to you for your awesome sketch. Please, please!

Sure! As a side note though, I think itβs better if you copy the drawing free hand, even if itβs in Illustrator rather than trace if youβre serious about learning to drawβ¦ tracing doesnβt help you to learn. Just a tip from my experience

Oh if only I could.
I had a pretty bad accident where I broke my wrist a few years ago, so I try to draw or write for too long, my wrist cramp/lock up pretty bad. derp.
So I use digital programs like Illustrator since it's easier for my wrist and stuff.
But I do appreciate the permission and advice!
