I hope everyone had/is having a good Xmas!Since the wild pack costumes for USFIV came out recently, I thought I'd revisit the concept I drew about 2 years ago Ā For this current one, I did reference the official SF art to get the poses right but the hardest part was probably getting the animal parts to fit with the human anatomy so that it looked ok.
Yes, I did see that Adon got a chameleon costume.Ā I like chameleons, but they're like on slow-mo when they move XD... idk why it was chosen for him when his moves refer to jaguars.

As your previous one, it's very amazing piece! I really love your concept, this design is just awesome! I don't understand why Adon get a chameleon outfit.. I don't think it suits him, but... anyway, I love both your artworks.

Sooo coool X3 I already said it once, but I love when you do this style. It's a little bit earthier (the brush strokes and such), and you seem to play around with perspective more. It's got a kind of "living tapestry" kind of feel :3

Thanks again! Yeah for some reason, drawing this way seems a lot more 'liberating'? Maybe because I'm not having to focus on getting details looking 100% so I can do more with perspectives... Now if only I can marry this style with my more realistic one :'D

Oh no I didn't take it that way XDĀ I totally get what you mean because with the more realistic style, I tend to focus a lot on the face because as I love faces, I can't help but get as close so I can do all those little detailing whereas with these calligraphy/cartoony styles I tend to focus on an overall image to make advantage of the dramatic brush effects, but you have a point so it's not to say one style is dependent on a particular focus and vice versa

It'll come ^^ I mean, it'll probably take some time, but you'll do it. I'd say try something totally out of your element so you don't have any previous expectations for yourself and go hog wild. I always learn a lot from those kind of pics :3
