Description

Just a quick doodling of some SpecBio ideas.

If there ever really was an 18 meters long Spinosaur (or some other long armed Theropod) on land, it would likely have to have an anatomy similar to what Hadrosaurs went through in order to achieve their quadrupedal posture. This would be a necessary option for an animal this big, while still having an option to stand (or even walk) upright, at least based on the largest Hadrosaurs we have.

Of course, an animal this big would also have to change its diet from piscivore to omnivore, with plant being the more dominant food supply.

Also, tried to keep the manus match with the basic Theropod anatomy, so they are still looking outwards. It walks on two of its digits with claws reduced in size on them, while it still kept the thumb claw as a weapon to use against other predators, smaller prey and to strip down the bark from tree trunks.

Plus, a non-avian dinosaur with false teeth, which is loosely based on an older bad drawing of mine, which was also inspired by one of Dixon's spec Pterosaurs. I just love the basic shape of that head.
