aahhhhh, traditional indian garments are so pretty and have such intricate designs, its hard to replicate. don't laugh! xD trying a style that's a little more realistic that i typically draw.Related content

Wow. I've seen lots of brilliant pictures in the incredibly adorable category from you, but this drawing that leans more towards realism is beautiful in a way I haven't seen in your other drawings. This woman doesn't have the huge, bright eyes you usually draw, but the smaller, less exaggerated smile gives a subtlety that makes her stand out among your other pictures. And all her intricate golden ornamentation all certainly adds a splendid feeling to her appearance. And I'd say the mild imperfections and slightly scribbly bits add to the charm of the drawing, giving her something of a nice stylistic edge. I'm really liking this very pleasant design. I wouldn't mind seeing this slight extra degree of realism again some time.

This is beautiful! I actually just watched this Bollywood movie called '3 Idiots' and it has an Indian bride dressed very much like this in it, so I was taken aback when I saw this come up in my updates!
