SO A SUMMARY OF MY STORIES AS OF NOW:

THE ANZI
on hiatus / rewriting

In an alien world full of gods and wizards, a man named Zhayne finds it hard to get his life together. In this city, his people were called 'Pruna,' and they served the Grand Avidi. Every pruna lived to please their leader and Zhayne was no exception. He was, however, very stubborn and unwilling to do distasteful jobs that wouldn't get him noticed immediately by the Grand. One day, a strange furry creature runs up to him in the library, knocking him onto the floor. By the time Zhayne realizes what's going on, the creature is gone and all that's left at his feet is a strange, blank journal. Curious, he picks the book up and takes it home with him. For several nights afterwards, he has nightmares of terror and tragedy. Genocide. The end of every pruna in the district. Could the dreams be warnings of what is to come? He would have to go on a journey outside of the district to find out. There are many other lands to explore and find answers to his problems, and he was clever enough to make it alone... if he wasn't being followed the entire time. How many times must one die in order to save the world?

WISH GRANTER HEAVY WISHING [ renamed ]

Jenner Knox is a twelve year old boy with a sickness that allows him barely two years to live. Shortly after hearing the news, he sees a ghost boy in his dreams. The boy claims he is Jenner's "other self" that will begin to wander the world after his death, and will be present in his mind for the next two years. Jenner ends up naming the ghost Nelamon, or Nel, in order to avoid confusion. After the appearance of his new friend Nel, he finds that he has gained the ability to see ghosts in the real world as well. Not the typical ghosts you would imagine, though... wishing ghosts. They come to Jenner calling him the next "wish granter" and beg him to help them pass on into the next world, which can only be done by granting their wishes. The only problem: they don't remember what their wishes are. Jenner makes a plan to spend the rest of his life helping his ghost friends remember when their dying wishes were so they can finally rest in peace. Along the way, he has to avoid evil ghosts who have abandoned their wishes... and started murdering other ghosts before Jenner could help them! Dead friends begin disappearing one by one. Normally the past wish granter would be helping him, but... they were put into a rather grave situation.

CHASING NIGHTMARES

During a war between the government and animal right's activists, experiments created by a confidential laboratory are running wild in a quarantined forest, reeking havoc among the locals and murdering everyone they can find. There's more going on within the social lives of the experiments than the humans think-- the city animals, fox gangs, flocks of birds, and many more groups are struggling to deal with the actions of these mutant beasts. A certain accident sparks a rebellion within the animals and experiments that is so severe that the scientists create a group of puppets designed to "clean them up." As in, slaughter everything in the forest and call the whole mission a failure. The animals are relentless, however, and have proven over and over again that they are not afraid to die in order to take back what is theirs...
