I don't see many pictures that compel me to add as my favorite on DevA, but this piece of Thranduil is simply stunning. I'm a huge fan of Tolkien's books and love the films by Peter Jackson so I suppose my bias towards this is obvious.
You've picked a great profile of this character and his parted lips is what drew me in the most. Your use of lighting and colors are in excellent balance and everything else is subtle and gives off a seductive air of mystery.
Well done and I hope to see more pieces featuring Tolkien's characters.
