I really enjoy this photo. The freedom, and calmness in it are very appealing. I love the feeling the image gives off. The subject seems so content, gazing into the world beyond her eyes. The quality of the image is good, other than the subtle sepia-like texture to it. In one hand I don't like the dulled colors, but in the other, I think the photo wouldn't portray such a since of 'peace' without it. I also love her beach ridden hair. There's such a naturalness about the girl and where she sits, like she 'knows' this place (the rocks, the water, the sky). I also appreciate how her tattoos aren't toally on display. She has them, yes...But it wouldn't matter if she didn'tin this image. Beautiful work, all around.

I'll admit the sepia was, in part, due to laziness. This should was done late in the evening and the orange light from the sun doesn't always work well with a pale skinned redhead.... The rest of it is my preference for more muted tones.
The picture was about Lauren at peace, not the awesome tattoos, so by covering up her sleeve a bit I think it helped. I'm pleased you noticed!
