Ive gotten a lot of requests to post more art from mine and Chris Bachalo's Captain America run. As Ive stated, I think the work we did on this title stands out as some of our best to date. I took way too long working on this stuff but am pretty proud of the results....which is not normal for me especially this long after Ive worked on something. Anyway.....there you go.Related content

Oh wow. The rendering on that Faux Doom is AMAZING..again the textures and linework are a feast for the eyes Tim,.....theres always stuff to look at on Chris's pages and your inks just bring it up another level. truly some pretty stuff with a lot of...bouncyness ...for lack of a better adjective.

Hardcore strokes for the hair, fuzzy soft hatches for the stars and the fur ... and it all comes really together!

Ok, well this might be like asking a magician how he does his tricks.... but how exactly do you get the crosshatch pattern, as you have around the stars and such? Do you hatch it as normal, and add white to it? or is it just a skill acquired along the way? hehe.

I just hatch it in black like normal. Once done, I go back in with white and extend the dots outward. It just makes the bleed that much more subtle. Glad you like!
