This is Normal - Click here for the latest!Anyone rememberΒ the second ever comic ? Well, this one goes out to everyone who ever told me I was wasting time doodling and drawing, or asked me what I was going to do with an animation degree. I'm now two weeks into my internship at A Productions, and am looking at the possibility of helping create a teaser for a potential animated series.
Also, looking back the whole long-sleeved shirt all the time thing is a little embarrassing in old photos. Kinda wish I could let my past self know to make the switch to short sleeved sooner.

Nah, biochemists get a x5 to job security and a +40% pay potential. That usually balances it out. Like yeh, I've got super punt and time travel (fashion sense was acquired through trial and error), but I'm gonna be doing super short contracts and paid shit-all for them. Biochemistry suddenly doesn't look so bad.

Good question. I would probably tell him to not be such a scaredy cat, to stand up to all of those bullies out to torment him, and to tell that bad influence I hung out with from age 15 to 18 to buzz off.

Just as long as we don't end up with 2 good movies about it that get ruined by the 3rd mediocre one, 4th bad one, and 5th one that goes all fucky with the timeline.

I wish I could have warned my 15 year-old self that if I started wearing sweat pants as everyday wear, they'd eventuallyΒ become the focal point of my wardrobe for the rest of my life.

But I've had this issue, mostly with my father... but then I now know more about the field I'm getting into more than he does, so he doesn't even have the qualification to believe otherwise!

And yeh, most of the scepticism I've faced comes from people who don't actually know all that much about stuff industry-wise, or barely even know anything about animation outside of Disney and Minions.

If someone doesn't know anything about something, they need to keep it to themselves because it makes them look foolish.
If anyone tries to pull it on me, I will just ask them to explain how the industry works to me, to enlighten me in my own field. Unless they know your field, they will have no valid reference to stand on.

I guess the downside is that in order for people to learn things they don't know about at some point they have to ask about them. Hard to fight ignorance if everyone's too afraid to ask for clarification when they don't understand. Although acting like an expert about something you know nothing about about should definitely be discouraged somehow.

It's not so much about asking or understanding, more about how they want things, so they try to verify it in thinking they know everything.
But yes. Or what he might do is understand the various things that needs to be done, but will refuse to let you get on with it.
