Thank you! I got the idea from this tutorial: [link]
I haven't seen Doctor Who in ages. The ones they show over here are the older ones particularly the Doctor with the really extra long scarf ( I think his name is Tom Baker). Question: do they still use the old police box for the appearence of the Tardis? I thought that was a neat aspect of the show.

The Tardis is still an old police box. It's narratively stuck like that and it's so iconic that I don't see them ever changing it. And yes, the long scarf doctor is Tom Baker. Don't they show the new (2005-7) series where you are?

I'm sure they do on one of the cable channels (prolly BBC America). They used to show the older ones all the time here on one of my local public television stations. It was at a young age that I learned about the various Doctors and a particular police box. Sad to say Doctor Who isnt quite as popular over here as it should be, well at least in my neck of the woods. Good Sci-fi is hard to come by these days.

That's a pity. I know the 2005-7 series has aired in America, though I couldn't say which channel - I think the way most people get them is through the DVDs. Sci-fi is more popular these days than it has been for a while, but is still sadly scarcer on the TV than other things.

I think the DVDs are the way to go. I recently picked up the old Gil Gerard 'Buck Rogers' series not too long ago. I remember when it first came out I thought it was the bees knees! Nothing like reliving your childhood through old cheesy TV shows!

I like DVDs but I'm not really a watching things over and over again kind of person, so I own very few.
