He's not really mad, but there was another cat who kept trying to steal his spotlight and he was just staring at it.

Yep, Milo used to belong to my mother-in-law. One day for no reason he just disappeared from her house and was gone for almost a year. We never figured out what happened to him, but one day he just showed up at my house skinny and covered with scratches. Everyone was very happy and we brought him home to my mother-in-law's house, but he wouldn't stay there and now he lives with us.
He's such a love-bug. I think he's the only cat I have ever had that would rather be petted than to be fed (only after you go in the house will he eat).

That's quite a story he has there. He must have seen many things in his year long absence. It's too bad he can't tell them to you.
It's interesting that he prefers attention over food though. All of my cats would rather have their canned slop than a warm lap. XD
Don't worry about the long reply though. I enjoy reading, especially when it's about something someone loves.
