YES! So glad to hear your participating in this.
I will be as well. And I'll be keeping an eye out for books I "know" when it comes into Atlanta.

oh,nicely done!!I'm doing it too,and I'm already worrying about the durability of the paper?
Really like the clean, crisp inked lines...do you mind me asking if you're going to do both sides?I haven't posted mine yet, because I'm getting some bleedthrough, and I'm considering refilling with a thicker grade of paper....

I use both sides of the paper. For me I love the look of the surrounding pages sort of peeking through. I have found that the Micron pens give the least amount of bleed as far as linework goes.

I shall have to go through my stash! Thanks for the tip[I do have a teensy pen fetish,so I'm bound to have one?]....otherwise,good excuse to go to the art store....!!
Your lines look very smooth & fine....so I shall definitely give Micron a try
[I myself use Rotring Tikky Graphic/Staedtler Pigment Liner/Shachihata or Mitsubishi Drawing sets[as I come from an archival bg,stability is my main focus!]
Thanks!

I have some of those other pens too. The Rotrings really bleed and warp the paper on these cahiers. Which is cool if that's what you are looking for but I like things fairly neat. The Microns have a pretty good quality archival ink too. Definitely worth giving a try.

Mmm,the Rotrings are better in the shiny, thicker Moleskine sketchbooks..they seem to have heaps of sizing{I can't get watercolour pencils to work on them either?} I'm new to the cahiers,so I appreciate your advice!

It's been fun so far. My book is 'Nighttime Stories'. After I send it back they are going to scan it and post the whole thing online. I'll let you know when that goes up too.

SWEET, thanks! Do you happen to know how many pages are in the book they give out?

It's a standard Moleskine Cahier which is something like 80 pages counting front and back of each.
