Had some better shots, but the Sony took it apon itself to to get random with the white balance.

Hmm as for there -- I managed to get spiked by a random cactus too, that my leg brushed against as I tried multitasking -- talking and walking.

About a dozen spines passed through my jeans and Magnums, 7 of which were barbed and penetrated in about an inch or so like a hot knife through butter - weren't so easy to remove though.

I think the white sands down toward Arizona are more striking.
